Academic Support

We understand that without a strong education foundation, it is hard to enjoy success in life. We offer not only dance instruction, but peer tutoring and academic support. We encourage our students to challenge themselves in school and regularly monitor their grades. We provide incentives for academic achievement and recognize our students throughout the year. In addition, when they are ready for graduation, we assist them through the college admissions process, give them access to higher education experts and provide moral support. Our dance program believes in developing the whole person and academic support is an important part of this process.

Skills Building

Our students come to us with raw talent and we shape it, sharpen it and strengthen it. We encourage our students to work hard, gaining their self-esteem from the fruits of their labor. We teach the fundamentals of dance, advanced techniques and new creative expression movements.

Character Development

Building good character is an important, yet challenging task, especially when young people are bombarded with negative messaging and influences. We focus on teaching good citizenship, making good choices and exercising positive judgement. We provide a supportive atmosphere that allows our students to express themselves, ask questions and receive support.

Performance Opportunities

Our students work so hard, perfecting their routines and learning new steps. Performances are their time to shine on the world's stage. Since we were founded, we have traveled throughout the state, region and country performing in parades and at public and private events. We offer ongoing opportunities for young people to perform and showcase their hard work to supportive audiences.

College and Career Readiness

Preparing for college and career can be a huge undertaking for any family. When students are in their last two years of high school, we start an ongoing program of assistance with college and career readiness. We assist with college admissions essays, host workshops on filling out the college application and stay abreast of college fairs and similar events in the area. In addition, we support our students in their search for internships, apprenticeships and provide testing help.
